Practices

Reminders for the people you look after.

The short version. A room is the other shape a project can take: instead of a board, it’s a roster — a physio’s patients, a tattoo studio’s clients, a tutor’s students. Each one sees only their own tasks, joins as a guest for free, and gets the ordinary Until reminder on their own phone. You get a template for the sentence you say every week, so you’re not typing it from scratch each time.

A client list and a to-do list solve two different problems, and forcing them onto the same screen usually loses both. A room keeps the roster a roster: one page per person, their tasks, nothing that looks like a board.

A room, not a board

A project is a board by default and can become a room instead — the same underlying tasks, drawn as a list of people rather than a list of lanes. Nothing moves and nothing is lost switching either way; it’s a view, not a migration.

A roster, and a quick read on each person

Each row is one person: their name, what’s open, when the next one’s due, and — once there’s enough history — a small read on whether things are actually getting closed. Not enough history yet, and it says so instead of guessing.

Write the sentence once

A handful of templates fill in the task editor without creating anything on their own — remind about the visit, aftercare, homework, a follow-up call, a payment reminder. Assign one to somebody and it prefills the form; nothing is scheduled until you actually save it.

Guests are free, and they only ever see their own

Inviting someone into a room makes them a guest — free, always — and a guest sees exactly one thing: their own tasks. No roster, no board, no glimpse of anyone else’s. On their phone it’s an ordinary Until reminder, nothing more.

until. for practices — in development

The room is built and being tested; it hasn’t reached an installed copy of the app yet, so there’s nothing to open today. If a client roster would help your practice, leave an email and we’ll tell you the day it’s real.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Can I use this with my clients today?

Not yet. The room exists in the code and is being tested, but it hasn’t shipped in an installed build, so there’s no roster to open right now. The reminder engine underneath it is what’s real today — join the waitlist and you’ll hear the day the room joins it.

Can my clients see each other?

No. A room is a list of people, each seeing only their own page — that’s what makes it a room instead of a board. Nobody on the roster can see anyone else on it.

Do the people I look after pay for anything?

No. Joining as a guest is free, always — there’s no seat to buy for the person on the other side of the work.

What does a client actually see on their phone?

An ordinary Until reminder, nothing else. No roster, no board, no template list — the room is something only you, running the practice, ever see.

One roster, and a reminder for every name on it.

The reminders underneath it are what you can join today. Client rooms and boards are next — leave your email and you’ll hear about both the day there’s something to install.

Only used to tell you when Until launches.

One email when there’s something to install. That’s the entire deal.
